Why energy clearing matters whether your home is 100 years old or brand new.

I love places like this, where an old building has been converted for modern use. You get the best of both worlds…old-world charm mixed with modern amenities. What’s not to love?
The one thing I always think about, though, is the energy of the building itself.
Places like this have so much history. They’ve been around for decades, sometimes centuries, and countless people have walked through their doors. From an energetic perspective, all of those people and experiences can leave something behind.

And you can almost guarantee that not everyone who entered that building came in with positive intentions, happy circumstances, or an aura of light.
That’s why, for me, an energy clearing is something I would want to do even before the renovation begins.
When old energy hasn’t been cleared, I believe it can continue to influence the way a home feels and the experiences of the people living there. That’s why energy clearing isn’t something I take lightly.

Our homes affect us in so many ways—how we feel, the thoughts and habits we fall into, the choices we make, and ultimately the direction our lives take. Clearing unwanted energy gives you an opportunity to intentionally shift what your home is holding and create an energetic environment that supports the life you actually want to live.
And energy clearings aren’t just for old or historic buildings.
Think about everything that happens inside an everyday home: arguments, anger, illness, difficult circumstances, grief, stress, heavy emotions. Over time, I believe some of that energy can linger too.
And then there are brand-new homes.

They may look pure and pristine, but a new home has already had an entire life before you receive the keys.
There’s the land it was built on. The construction process. The builders and tradespeople who worked inside it. The developer. The seller. The circumstances surrounding its creation.
All of that matters energetically.
Most people move into a new home wanting a fresh start…a new chapter, a new beginning. You naturally assume you’re starting with a clean slate. Emotionally, that may be exactly how it feels. And, energetically, I believe there can still be something worth clearing.
Because if your home represents a fresh start, I want it to truly feel like one.
I hope you enjoyed reading a little more about why home energy clearings are such an important part of the work I do.
